Who We Are and What We Do
Hello Crafters!
We are the world's first network for scrapbookers and papercrafters specifically designed and created to connect crafters with the suppliers/brands that make the products we can use and would like to learn more about. We are strengthening brand recognition of our sponsors by directly connecting our sponsors with our crafters in one forum. We are educating crafters by providing a "one stop shop" to explore all kinds of products, informative articles, listings of scrapbooking events and more. Crafters, you can join absolutely free and connect with other crafters as well as our sponsors!
This website is for you, it s about you, it's to celebrate your artistry and creativity. It's to encourage you and to inspire you. It's to introduce you to new products, get you familiar with current products and inspire you to do new things with classic products.
Once you join, you will be able to create a beautiful and elegant profile page all about yourself, where you can show off your projects in your very own photo gallery, share tips and tricks with other members, and even post your Youtube videos on your page and will play directly from your Scrapbooking Society page. You will have your very own Scrapbooking Society URL (web address) which means you can use your SS URL as your web address. If you don't currently have a website, you will have one here! Those of you that have a website, great, you can post the link to your website on your SS profile page to direct visitors to your website. You can also post up to five additional links on your profile page, so you can direct people to your Twitter page, Facebook page or any websites you choose.
Crafters; To Become a Member:
Just click Join Now on the navigation above and you will see an illustrative image of what a profile page looks like. Click Continue and you will be directed to a page where you will create your account. At the top of the page, you will need to choose Crafter, under type of membership. Then you will choose your username and password and the rest of your account info. At the top of the page, you will need to choose Crafter, under type of membership. After you click Continue at the bottom of the page you will be directed to the page where you enter the info that will show on your profile page.
About our Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
We offer the latest technology in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Web sites are search engine optimized by a short description and by keywords. Each page of a web site is search engine optimized for the entire site in general. Scrapbooking Society is search engine optimized for each member individually. This feature makes all the difference in allowing your page to be found. Instead of your page having Scrapbooking Society relevant description and keywords, it has a description and keywords that are relevant to you. You are in charge of what SEO description and keywords go on your page and it could not be any easier for you. Once you are a member you will be able to access your own personal SEO feature from the member area. Once you enter your description and keywords, you simply click submit and what you entered goes immediately into the code (the programming language behind the scenes) and will be searchable via Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines. What this means is that we are not only connecting you with people that visit the Scrapbooking Society site directly, we are also connecting you with the people doing searches outside our site. This is an invaluable feature. Please note that once you place your description and keywords, it may take Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines a few days for the results to show. This is a search engine delay, which has nothing to do with Scrapbooking Society.
We offer you the latest in technology with real time traffic statistics. From the member area you are able to access your traffic statistics in real time. You will be able to see how many summary views, detailed views, web site click thru(s), phone number requests, and e mails sent.
There are two featured slide shows on the home page. One showcases our sponsor pages and one showcases our crafters. When you join, you will automatically placed into the Featured Crafters slide show on our home page. Visitor can click through to your page directly from the slide show.

Eligibility Requirements:
Scrapbooking Society membership is open to all scrapbookers; paper and digital, paper-crafters and artists of all kinds. Sponsorship is open to all companies that have relevant products that our community can benefit from. If you are a crafter and you sell products, please join free as a crafter to be a part of our community, and consider joining as an individual sponsor to promote your products. To keep sponsorship fair across the site, we ask that you do not join as a crafter to promote products you are selling. We have different levels of sponsorship designed to accommodate all types of sponsors.
