Scrapbooking Society Respects and Values your Privacy

Scrapbooking Society does not allow children under the age of 18 on the Site, nor does Scrapbooking Society knowingly collect any information from any person under the age of 18. If Scrapbooking Society is informed that a person under the age of 18 is creating a profile or user account, Scrapbooking Society will immediately remove the posting and any personal information that may have been inadvertently collected by Scrapbooking Society.

Moreover, you hereby consent to disclosure of any record or communication to any third party when Scrapbooking Society, in its sole discretion, determines the disclosure to be appropriate including, without limitation, sharing your e-mail address with other third parties for suppression purposes in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, as amended from time to time. If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, which you have not specifically initiated, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by following the instructions contained in the applicable e-mail. Scrapbooking Society processes all unsubscribe requests in a prompt manner.
Although Scrapbooking Society does not release your personal information to the public and Scrapbooking Society makes a reasonable good faith effort to store your personal information in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee 100% security of such information due to factors beyond our control.
Scrapbooking Society will not tolerate Unsolicited Commercial Emails (also known as "SPAM") or other unsolicited emails to our users. Your use of the services on the Site does not authorize you in any way to add other users of the Site to your physical or email mailing list without their express consent. If it is brought to our attention that you are sending unsolicited emails to our users, we will immediately terminate your account and will cooperate with all legal authorities to aid in your prosecution for violations of state and federal SPAM laws.

Our website contains links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide while visiting such sites and this privacy statement does not govern such sites. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
Storage of Information:
Your Member Page: All information submitted as part of your profile is stored until you request that your profile be removed. We keep all information, even after a removal request is received, on our server for a minimum of ninety (90) days. After that time, information may be purged from Scrapbooking Society's servers periodically. However, just because Scrapbooking Society has purged the information from its servers does not mean that your information will not be archived by third party sources not affiliated with Scrapbooking Society including, but not limited to google.com, archive.org, and groups.yahoo.com.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Scrapbooking Society may take reasonable steps to confirm your identity prior to supplying any personal information to you in order to prevent identity theft.
Scrapbooking Society will never ask for your password in order to help you with your account.
