FAQ's

1. Can you tell me how the Cozy has been constructed?

The fabrics (100% cotton) have been machine-quilted over a layer of batting and muslin lining. All of the seems have been finished and the binding has been hand-sewn in place. Because the Cozy has been constructed with three layers, it is sure to keep your Cozy free of dust, scratches, and normal wear-and-tear!

2. Do you use pre-quilted material to construct your Cozies?

No. I do all of the quilting myself, in a "stippled" pattern. Stippling is a pattern of closely-sewn, roaming lines. Using pre-quilted material is cheating ;)

3. Do you make custom Cozies?

Yes, I do. If you would like a special color/pattern, I will be happy to work with you to make a Cozy that compliments your craft area.

4. How do you choose fabrics for custom Cozies?

If you tell me what colors and prints you like, I can usually find something you would like. Any information that you can give me about your "style" will help tremendously. For instance, do you like solids or prints? paisleys, florals, stripes? modern, romantic, cute? After I have an idea of what you might like, I will email pictures of fabrics to you until we find one. I can frequently be found roaming through my local fabric store, cell phone in hand, snapping pictures for clients. :)

5. If I order a custom Cozy, how long will it take for it to be shipped?

Shipment in 10 days is guaranteed. In most cases, it takes much less time.

6. How can I take care of my Cozy?

Machine wash in cold water. Line dry. After washing, it is natural for quilted fabrics to pucker a little bit. You may use a cool iron if necessary.

7. What kinds of Cozies do you make?

I currently make Cozies for the Cricut Imagine, Expression, Personal Cutter (Create), Cuttlebug, Jukebox and Gypsy. I've recently started to make Kindle and iPad Cozies, too, as well as Cuttlebug plate bags. If you supply measurements, I can also make Cozies for other appliances you may have, including sewing machines, toasters, printers, scanners, bread makers, window valances, etc. Send an email to me if you have any questions.
